    i am not sure what you mean by virtualisation but  Virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) is supported

    If you mean Container running on the switch itself,  please look at feature navigator to see which platform support it.

    A switch is a physical thing, which utilizes physical connections;
    you can think about it, but it stops there.
    You can do administration locally or in Aruba Central (Cloud).

    A switch moves traffic within a network, but a switch may or may not contain a router (none, one or more) 
    that moves traffic between networks.
    But anyway, all traffic flows internally in the box, until it leaves/arrives at a physical port.
