I have a pretty weird problem. In one of my AP groups/buildings I have 18 out of 35 APs that have a power level of 0 dBm/EIRP for the 6GHz radio.

Here is output from show ap bss-table:

We have several other buildings using this 6GHz radio profile, and all buildings are using the same Virtual AP profiles. In the past this building had the 6GHz radios completely disabled on many APs and we could only get them to come back online by re-provisioning the APs with the settings they already had.

Does the SSID has WPA3 Access configured?

if using WPA2 than the Radio will not come up because of violation Regulatory rules.

    Controllers are 8.10.0.4_85195 LSR
    Conductor is 8.10.0.2 LSR

We are using AP-635's in the US

We've never made any changes to the DRT file, but we have 370 APs online and are only seeing issues with these 18.

Please be sure that the Mobility Conductor has the same or higher Software Release than the Controllers in your case the controllers are newer than the Mobility Conductor.
Multiversion support is possible within some restrictions, like the Conductor has the highest or the same Software Release than the Controllers.

    What about the other questions:

What about those other correct working 635 APs? Are they in a different Group?
Did you install on all Devices the same OS already?

We have 360 AP-635 deployed, with 35 in this AP group. 18 of the 35 APs in this group are experiencing the issue.

    The APs are running 8.10.0.4

    Hello,

Did you create a ticket for this? I've been noticing some odd behavior with a few of our 635 APs, seeing 0dBm for 10 6GHz radios. It seems it causes the AP to have an amber light for the 6GHz radio as well. Do you receive the same?

Also, when viewing the radios in Mobility Conductor, I've noticed those 10 radios are listed as "AM" for radio mode instead of "Access".

    Thanks,

    Nate

Not yet, we're waiting to get conductor upgraded before we open a ticket about it to prevent support from making this our first step. Our AP-635's are still showing "Access" . The radios are showing - for Noise floor, EIRP, channel utilization, and max eirp.

Oh, we currently have LEDs turned off so I'm not sure. I can check that tomorrow. Looks like from the AP-630 series install guide an amber light means:
"Amber- solid Radio enabled in monitor or spectrum analysis mode"

I don't know why these APs would be in monitor mode, all of the channel qualities we have are "excellent"

Channel conditions would not result in a radio being in AM mode. It's either configured for that mode, or 6GHz is not allowed for the country of operation based on the DRT file content, or some radio config is conflicting with the rules for 6GHz operation. For example, if the AP is configured for outdoor operation (not allowed for the 6GHz radio on this AP) or if WPA2 is configured (WPA3 is required).

Just updated MC to 8.10.0.4, same version as our controllers and still seeing the same issue. We believe all of our current settings should allow the radio to operate but it isn't. We have this same AP group operating over a dozen other APs without issue.

Since our software is configured correctly, we just opened a support case #5371467695

We just ended up rebooting the APs through the conductor and they are all operating normally now. Aruba support was no help and the root cause is unknown. Hopefully we don't see this issue again.
