    Hello, 

    I've been tasked with updating our Aruba MM an controllers. I'm very new to Aruba and want to know if there is a specific upgrade path from 8.7.1.x to the latest version which is 8.12..x

    We do not have any AP2xx or 3xx, only AP515s. 

    Our Aruba MM also needs to be updated since it's on version 8.7.1.6 so I'm also wondering should I first update the Mobility Master, and then update the controllers through MM with an FTP server holding the firmware update?

    yes it is recommended to upgrade the MM and then the rest of the MDs. Also note that mutliversion is supported with MMs.

    you can also check the "upgrade procedure" chapter for 8.12 release notes. where you can obtain from HPE Networking support portal
