hi all,

i have tried to find any explanation about when to use trunk or access port on Controller, MM and AP, but until now i got nothing. so if i have 2 controller, 1 MM, and some of AP, and i want to have multiple SSID with different VLAN on each SSID, what is the best setting for the port on all devices, is it trunk or access ?

Mobility Master is usually Access. Its a management platform mostly
APs only need trunk if you want to drop off client traffic on the AP uplink port. Otherwise, all access ports to allow the AP to tunnel to the controller
The controller is 100% where you will want to deploy trunks for the connectivity. Spinning up new VLANs/Subnets will require this.

if im using access on AP, then all users will be tunnel to controller, is that also mean that the traffic of my user will be out from the controller ? not from the AP where the user connected to ?

Yes. The user traffic is carried over the tunnel from the AP to controller. You assign a VLAN to the SSID or the User Role and that's the VLAN they exit through the controller on. If you set up the SSID to be in bridge mode, then you need to trunk that SSID/User Role VLAN to the AP.
