    We started the deployment of new AP555 model and they are physically  attached to a Cisco Switch WS-C3850-48P. The AP turn on and get IP address correctly but don't broadcast SSID's. The LED color is RED too.

    SWITCH1#sh power inline gi3/0/38
    Interface Admin Oper Power Device Class Max

    Gi3/0/38      auto     on 1  5.4                 Ieee   PD    4    30.0

    SWITCH1#sh power inline gi3/0/42

    Are you using mobility master, controller or IAP? from cli you can use "show ap database" and see if the flags tell you anything.

    Flags: 1 = 802.1x authenticated AP use EAP-PEAP; 1+ = 802.1x use EST; 1- = 802.1x use factory cert; 2 = Using IKE version 2
    B = Built-in AP; C = Cellular RAP; D = Dirty or no config
    E = Regulatory Domain Mismatch; F = AP failed 802.1x authentication
    G = No such group; I = Inactive; J = USB cert at AP; L = Unlicensed
    M = Mesh node
    N = Duplicate name; P = PPPoe AP; R = Remote AP; R- = Remote AP requires Auth;
    S = Standby-mode AP; U = Unprovisioned; X = Maintenance Mode
    Y = Mesh Recovery
    c = CERT-based RAP; e = Custom EST cert; f = No Spectrum FFT support
    i = Indoor; o = Outdoor; s = LACP striping; u = Custom-Cert RAP; z = Datazone AP
    p = In deep-sleep status
    4 = WiFi Uplink
    r = Power Restricted; T = Thermal ShutDown

    Make sure you have LLDP enabled on the cisco switch as well.

    I'll try again.
    didn't post last time for some reason.
    Are you using a controller, mobility master or IAP?
    You can use cli and use the "show ap database" command and see if the Tags show you any indication.
    also make sure your Cisco switch has LLDP turned on. your power is only showing 5.4 used so the switch may not know how much power to give the AP.

    you'll have to enable IPM (Intelligent Power Monitoring) in the software.
    By default it is off.
    The 555 requires at a minimum 802.3at (30W) but will only operate with a limited feature set. However without IPM enabled it will refuse to broadcast SSIDs, when supplied with 30W.

    You could also supply two times 30W via 2 Ethernet drops, but that is usually not possible if not planned for.
    Another alternativ would be to use Switches that supply 802.3bt power.
