    Hello All,

I have recently taken the Aruba class on the ACP-CA certification but have been told that the exam is a bit more brutal than past HPe Aruba certs. Just curious of those who have passed this exam, what non-HPe published study materials did you use to prepare for the exam?  TIA

Yes, I have the official HPe published study material. I asked about non-HPE published material. According to those I have spoken to that have taken this exam, there is content in the exams that is not in the study guide and my HPe instructors have confirmed this. Just curious what other material, if any, others who have passed this exam have used to prep.

From the certification description: "Typical candidates for this certification are NOC Level 2/3, network analyst, or network engineer with 2-5 years of experience with Aruba portfolio and an understanding of the implications of their actions on the network, impact, and risk of change management."

So not just study material is needed, but some form of hands-on experience is expected. Some questions may include 'common knowledge' as port of experience during the job. If you lack the practical experience, studying extra hard may compensate for that.

One additional resource to consider would be the Validated Solution Guide that describes how to set up networks with HPE Aruba Networking.
