    Hello!

We have several Aruba AP-505 in one site.
The all are added to one AP-Group.

    Thats good and everything works.

I wanted to add another AP-505 which is in another subnet. I learned that I have to tell that AP the IP of the conductor. That works by DNS "aruba-master" or DHCP with option 43.

But the remote AP is not added to the others.

I switched on logging and there I found an error:

error: avoid installing virtual controller ip 192.168.1.1 on mgmt vlan as it does not match with ap-ip subnet 10.0.0.0/24

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thank you!

    Alex.

Based on the wording of the error message, you're running Instant AP?  All of the APs have to be in the same L2 network for the Instant virtual controller to manage the AP.  Only Mobility Controller based environments support multiple L3 networks.
