We're piloting Singlewire Informacast Fusion for emergency mass notifications. They have a desktop notifier that will display a notification full screen while delivering audio via multicast.

We have IGMP and PIM configured on our core/router and it works fine over the wired network. However, the multicast audio is not reaching wireless users. I'm assuming that we have to enable something on our controllers (MC and two MDs in a cluster running AOS 8). What needs to be enabled to pass on that traffic? Also, once it is allowed, will AirGroup have any say in that as well?

Broadcast / multicast controls are usually configured which will drop all BC/MC traffic except a small list that is converted to unicast.  BC/MC optimization and/or dynamic multicast optimization (DMO) can be used to optimize multicast traffic across the air.  AirGroup can be used to control multicast services that utilize mDNS.
