Hello, I am running on 8.10.7 LSR on Mobility. If I try to create a new group, I am forced to enable 169 & 173 at 20MHz. The other stable AP groups enable 36 - 165 at 20MHz.  If I try to go back and uncheck 69 & 73 it won't apply.

I have the AOS10 training, I didn't see anywhere that reads 169 & 173 are recommended and valid channels. Am I missing something? I apparently didn't get the memo if 169 & 173 are valid and should be default at 20 MHz.

    Thanks

Depending on your country (and country code), channels may or may not be allowed (and indoor/outdoor is also different for most countries).

With the command 'show ap allowed-channels country-code <your country>' you can check what channels are allowed and with what bandwidths. For example in Netherlands, where I live, channels 169&173 are not allowed:

    (md7005) #show ap allowed-channels country-code NL

Hello, thank you. I am in the AMS domain. I went to system >  profiles > AP > Regular Domain, unchecked 69 & 73

Checked the same for RF management

Not sure what the AMS domain is... is that US?

Also, this probably is easy to resolve if you show it in a live-session, and hard to solve with the limited information we have now. May be best to schedule something with your Aruba partner or Aruba support. It can be as simple as having a different regulatory domain profile applied than the one you configured, but it can be something else as well which requires a more thorough look.
