It was confirmed in a 2.5.6 "Whats New" broadcast that 615 will not be supported directly after the 2.5.6 update with AOS 10.4

635 and 655 APs are going to be supported with the next Central update, which is going to be rolled out on the different clusters in February. This update will include 10.4 which will be minimum for these APs, as far as I know.

so they can not be used in Central in version 10.x
