When creating or editing ssid, you want to look at the security tab.
Here you can move the slider form totally open network to enterprise security. Latter will give you option for route to local or cloud ad, mac auth or hopefully any setting you find apropriate. Setting slider to visitor, wil give you the menu for splash pages creation.

Can you give me an overview of how to make the guest portal, or make users connect through Active Directory?

Yes, if you manage AP's in Central, you should be able to control them behind any firewall, if you do your settings correct.
- Getting started with central management may a bit tricky, if you have no clue, and worse; no local hero to show you them basics.
- When created group/site with AP's, switches etc, you may configure heaps of SSID's, connected, and routed to different vlans, on 2.4, and 5 Ghz - Wi-Fi6 bluteooth collaberation and GPS in them coolest accesponts.
- Then you can create Guest/company/confrence SSID's with splash pages, user counts statistics, time availibility, and just about very much a little bit more you easily can spend a few motnths or years to learn and explore.

How are the AP-303 managed, via a local, Central, Controller etc? There is the ability to integrate these with an external authentication source such as AD. For example, if running as an Instant AP you can configure an Internal Authenticated Captive Portal with Active Directory as an external source. As for the QR code, I'd suspect you'd need a different product for that.

Good afternoon! I'm new here in the community
we recently acquired 12 access points here at the company, ARUBA 303 RW and we would like to have more management of the same, especially when it comes to guests, and if possible an integration with the Active directory.
Is it possible to perform this type of configuration in which ways?
we would like to have a portal where you can generate temporary access for guests, and that through QR codes or something similar, we could release access to users to browse the network for a determined time.
could you help me with these doubts? I really don't know how to get more control over these APS.
