The AP 6 Ghz is not started, only 2.4 & 5 is working, with green led lights.
The Ap is in a controller/ Conductor env.
All settings is by the book, as shown in document online.

What's the DRT version, and what's the configured country of operation?
An amber radio LED means the radio is in scanning mode, which happens either when configured as such, or when the DRT file indicates that the the radio has not yet been certified for operation in the target country.

The DTR is 8.10; which is the required one for AP-655.

The Regulatory Domain is the correct country of operation, with valid 6Ghz channels

    (Changing it, makes no different)

Please make sure that you are on DRT 1.0_83381 or up for 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands. For Instant mode check under Maintenance -> Regulatory in the WebUI.

8.10 is the firmware version, DRT comes at a specific version with each firmware but also can be upgrade independently. So either upgrade to the very latest firmware (and hope that DRT version is new enough), or manually upgrade to the most recent DRT file. Understand that this may look cumbersome, but that is because some countries take more time to open up the 6GHz band and Aruba needs to be compliant to local regulations in each of the countries.

We release a new DRT file roughly every two weeks.
The 6GHz band is opened up by individual countries in the EU gradually, and we can only enable the band once it is legally allowed to do so.
Support for 6GHz in Norway was introduced in version 83381.
If your version is older, please upgrade. If it's newer, we're dealing with a bug. Please let us know.

    Steinar,

That AOS release includes DRT version 83672, so you're right in that 6GHz should be supported on AP-655 in that release.
Let me find out why that's not reflected in that version, if it's any different in the latest one, and whether a fix is needed in the next DRT release.

The team seems to have identified the issue, and will fix it in the next DRT release (whatever the version number after 84001 will be).

Can it be a workaround?, can the no abbreviation be replaced with eg. se ??

Changing the regulatory domain in ap-group has no effect.

Hence the fact I have 100 AP-655 stockpiled to bee deployed next week !

Changing the country code to SE could be a workaround I suppose. Based on the info above it seems that in that case the 6GHz channels are indeed enabled. But I'm confused by your comment that changing the regulatory domain (to SE I assume) has no effect.

Note that the new DRT is expected to be available by the end of this week or early next week.

There was a new bulletin release about this. See Bulletin ARUBA-FB-AP2205-2
This is due to new hardware used and affects AOS 10.

    Here is the solution.

When using any of the affected AP platforms, upgrade to ArubaOS or Instant 8.10.0.1 or later ASAP. Do not downgrade to 8.10.0.0.

Definitely unrelated, and not applicable to any AP-655s already in the field. The issue in the field bulletin applies to AP-655 hardware with a new PHY revision that is not yet currently shipping.

Steinar: when you change the country of operation to SE, enable 6GHz and define a VAP in that band (using OWE or WPA3 security), the 6GHz radio LED remains orange?
