Aruba 2920 static routing

  • 1.  Aruba 2920 static routing

    Hello 

    I added a second default route through ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.25.1 metric 3 name  backup-route but I can not see it on the routing table  through show ip route static even though the interface to the gateway is up. Any help ? Thanks

    It may be that the show route only displays active routes. A backup route may be considered not active.

    You may validate this with TAC... or bring the interface connecting to your primary route down.

    Hello Herman,

    Thnaks for your response. I tried that but the second route still doesn t figure on the table but surprisingly, the first route always does.

    And the default gateway 192.168.25.1 is reachable on one of your interfaces?
