I have read in a post that it is possible to use aruba netedit to back up the config of a Aruba 6000 automatically. I have read in the manual from netedit:

    supported are:

    • Aruba CX 6000 Switch Series • Aruba CX 8000 Switch Series

Build when i try to add de device in netedit, it says unsupported. Any ideas?

I have also a couple of 2930F switches, where i am using a job in combination with tftp. What should be a better solution to use? Preferable no cloud solutions.

No idea about Netedit not working with CX6000 and I don't have any to test with, but I can confirm that it works fine with CX6100 and that should be same featureset.  If you're using it in a licensed manner, I would suggest asking support.

For your legacy switches, I would recommend either RANCID or NeDi.

    Hello all,

along with RANCID and NeDi, I'd personally add to the list Oxidized

    https://github.com/ytti/oxidized

Which basicaly is a RANCID replacement.
