Aruba 7205 not compatible with ap aruba 505

    i have aruba controller 7205 version 6.5.1.4 with 20 AP 305 working. now i install AP 505 version 8.7.1.3 but on controller can detect AP 505. What should I do? please help me. I try convert ap to campus ap but notification is  "Retrieve image failed, please save the log in the popup window. AP will reboot in 15 minutes,"

    Does your controller and the AP have the same country code?

    8.7.1.3 supports both 7205 and AP-505, so that should not be an an issue either.

    If you want to use AP-505 in a controller based network, you'll have to upgrade to 8.6 or later. There's no way around that.

    When using a controller, the regulatory variant of the AP is irrelevant and ignored, so that should not matter.
