Hi, if you are going to use the VSX Live Upgrade Feature (basically a single command to launch an orchestrated software update of your entire VSX) have a look at the relevant tiny chapter on this
Aruba VSX Configuration Best Practices for Aruba CX 6400, 8320, 8325, 8360, 8400 (Revision 1.3 December 2020) Technical Whitepaper (see page 68) and also read the
Aruba AOS-CX 10.10 Virtual Switching Extension (VSX) Guide for 6400, 8320, 8325, 8360, 8400, 9300, 10000 Switch Series (Revisione 2 August 2022) which is always very educative (no matter it refers to AOS-CX 10.10 and not 10.08).
Evaluate if is the case to move from AOS-CX 10.06 (LSR) to AOS-CX 10.10 (LSR) instead of simply moving from AOS-CX 10.06 (LSR) to AOS-CX 10.08 (SSR). To understand differences of SSR versus LSR please have a look for a thread discussing the Short Support Release and Long Support Release related to AOS-CX in this community or look for that info into the Aruba web site.
Also read the Release Notes about
AOS-CX 10.08.1090 (latest software build released for AOS-CX 10.08) where the Software Update procedure of a standalone Aruba 8320 is explained (some recommendations are also valid when you plan to use the VSX Live Upgrade approach).
