    Hi Everyone,

We are planning to purchase ARUBA 500 SERIES CAMPUS ACCESS POINT(Aruba AP 505) and we would like it to be intgrated with the AD so users in the domin can access fine while guests shall have another profile which has password.

Question: does this model provide this feature? If not, can you give us some suggestion on what model we could buy it instead of this one?

    Thanks

From the perspective of Security all 500 series APs function the same.

But your question requires an additional layer, that layer is RADIUS.

Sounds like you are looking to add 802.1x Auth via WPA2 to your WLAN - this requires a RADIUS server.
Something like Aruba Clearpass or Aruba Central Cloud Auth [Azure] or Windows Server NPS.

I will be using Windows Server NPS but my question was about the AP model which could support this feature. Can I use 505 or what model could be used?

Each Aruba AP model can provide multiple WLAN networks with different security features. Among others PSK protected or WPA Enterprise protected.

More details can be found in the accesspoint datasheet.
