    Hi all,

I was informed that a remote user was having connectivity issues yesterday and rebooted her Aruba RAP-505HR a few times to troubleshoot. This morning, we found that the RAP had been factory reset somehow. Does anyone know how this would have happened? Here are the last few logs on the AAC -

    Thanks!

Did the reset button get used somewhere in this process?

The reset button is accessible externally. If it was pressed (using paperclip or similar) and held long enough, the AP will factory reset. Is it possible that happened?

To our knowledge, the reset button was not touched. I'm confirming with the end user, but so far I'm only aware of rebooting via power a few times.

Disregard... so it turns out in the effort to troubleshoot the RAP connectivity, the end-user did in fact hold the reset button. That would explain it! Thanks for the help, was just making sure the newer RAPs didn't have an auto-reset feature or something :-)
