    Yes, you can use the IoT section in your AP to verify if a space is occupied or unoccupied, it's also possible to count activity levels to gauge an estimate of the number of people in that room.     Chair accelerometers can also be added to flex desk situations so you know exactly which chairs are occupied or vacant.     Using the EnOcean EOSCU, EOSWU, or EPACU detects movement via a Passive infrared sensor.   the EMSIU tracks movement through the accelerometer connected to the back of a chair.   None of those IoT sensors require batteries and they communicate via 800/900 MHz back to a USB adapter in the AP (USB500U)
