We configured a Guest SSID on controller integrate with Clearpass guest, When we tried to access the SSID there is no popup for the captive portal even though

Any one can help me fix this issue ?

    Thanks

Make sure your controller has an IP in the VLAN assigned to your guest clients. The controller needs the IP to redirect the clients to the splash page. Also check the VLAN assigned to the initial guest role (probably something like guest-logon).

    Hello

    Thank you for your reply

Yes the controller has an IP for the VLAN that assigned to guest, also the VLAN assigned to initial guest role.

You need a preauth role, nor guest, guest permits internet Access, you need to redirect this to a portal, client must have a preauth role at this time

    2 items may help you

    • Controller needs to have an IP on this vlan for redirection process
    • Preauth role must be present at this time, preauth role must have default policies, at least for IPV4, captiveportal & logon-control & captive portal server host
