    Hi Guys 

    After Server reset i can see this when i log in to clearpass 

     

    Anyone know hot fix that?

    Yes, I had a power cut during CPPM VM autostart process 

    Funny enought, all authentication seems to work fine, howver im locked down from the web gui. 

    Doe enyone knows how to backup the CPPM config without accessing the gui or how to fix this issue ?

    Open TAC ticket, need to check if any database file got corrupt and also we can copy backup file from command line and only TAC have access.

    I had the same issue last week in my HomeLAB (after a power failure). I reboot the server to the secondary backup partition, aka roll-back to 6.8.x.

     

    My advise is dont run 6.9.0 in production until there are some patch releases after some time. In production i will advise 6.8.5 at this moment. I would never run a x.x.0 in production.

     

    Only TAC support can fix this for you because only they have access to the underlay linux CLI.

    I tried to reproduce the "yellow screen issue". But not succeed.

     

    • Clean install 6.9.0 > hard reboot 3x
    • Clean install 6.8.0 > 6.8.4 > 6.9.0 > hard reboot 3x

    No issues found. Please let me known the answer from TAC support if you have some more information.

    Hello,

     

    I had the same issue. I resolved the issue by change to an older boot-image and restart the VM.

     

    After this one is loaded, check the GUI login. Seems to work again

     

    Now you can change the bootloader back to the newer boot-image and restart the VM.

     

     

    [appadmin@Clearpass]# system boot-image -l

    1) Aruba ClearPass Platform 6.9.1.130252 [Active]
    2) Aruba ClearPass Platform 6.8.4.120034

    [appadmin@Clearpass]# system boot-image -a 2

    I know this thread is old but would be ok to roll back 6.9.0 to 6.7.12 ?

    What is the problem you are facing?

    You should not run 6.7.x as it is end of support and contains known vulnerabilities.
