    Good day.

I need to deploy Clearpass for 500 Devices on Microsoft Azure.

Does Aruba have recommendations on VMWare vs vSphere ?      Or is any one of the 2 recommended ?

    Kind Regards

I wonder if this is more to this question or if you mean another hypervisor?

ClearPass can be run as a virtual appliance on a VMware ESXi host. vSphere is a suite of VMware software which includes ESXi and other products which may bring benefits over a standalone ESXi host.

ClearPass can also be run on Microsoft HyperV and KVM. See the ClearPass Installation Guide for more information.

    Hello,

if you reference to the scaling guide it should be good.
ClearPass is available at Azure marketplace (https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en/marketplace/apps/arubanetworks-4922182.aruba-clearpass-policy-manager?tab=Overview). May it is also supported to upload the VHDX image (https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00100074en_us).

For Azure deployments of ClearPass, use the virtual appliance from the Azure Market Place.

Instructions are here in the ClearPass documentation.
