    When configuring remote access it is important to consider the ways that the remote user will consume resources. If the bulk of their data usage is from cloud based  service and the internet it may make sense to use a split tunnel mode to reduce the amount of data that the remote access controller is required to handle.  An overview of data tunnel modes can be found HERE - Remote Access Secure Data Tunnels Explained
