Hi all,

Hopefully i've got this in the correct forum but i've got a couple of HP JG941A 5130 switches at a remote location that i can't manage remotely due to them not having a gateway set on them so i've connected via console but i cannot find the correct command to get into any kind of enable or config mode to allow me to enter the ip default gateway command that i keep seeing to add the gateway. 

Can anyone tell me what the correct syntax is to firstly get into the correct command level on these and then should i then be able to use the ip default gateway command or is it a different command on these models ?

You go to System view with command "system"

then you can add default gateway with 

"ip route-static 0.0.0.0 0 <default gw ip>"
