I have 2 mobility masters ArubaMM-HW-10K , which form VRRP on their network interface.

    - for the described case, if firmware is upgraded on secondary then it is rebooted, should be no any impact. But when primary VRRP mobility master is rebooted, should be interruption for clients ?!

    - for the disaster case when site with local Aruba WLCs and access points lost connection to mobility masters, will be any impact on clients ?!

As I see, mobility master, per defined design is only for configuration purposes ....

As long as you've not enabled uplink monitoring, which shouldn't be enabled for most environments, rebooting the MCR will have to impact on the MDs, APs, or users except for those services reliant on the MCR like AirGroup.

You would be better off upgrading the "primary" MCR first, allow failover to the other MCR, then the reboot will put the original back to operation.
