FTP between CAP and Managed Devices

    In MCR/MC architecture, It is not clear why FTP is needed between CAP and managed device/controller.

    if AP downloads new image using TFTP, what is the need for FTP?

    The AP should use FTP for software transfer from the MC and then TFTP if FTP is unavailable. FTP is a more reliable protocol.
