I have 2 HP1920s-48 switches with the latest firmware PD2.19. I need to use them for multicast video streaming so I have turned on IGMP snooping and that part works. But these switches do not have a querier built in, so I am using a Netgear switch which is sending IGMP querier packets. My PC will get streams when connected to the Netgear, but if I connect to the HP switches, the stream stops after the "IGMP group" timeout in the switch. This is because the IGMP "general query" messages from the Netgear are being dropped by the HP 1920s when they should be flooded to all ports.
Is this a bug in the HP switch, or does it not like something about the packet from the Netgear? The HP is forwarding the IGMP "group specific query" messages from the Netgear.
I have tested the above using Wireshark.
