Hi, recently we have the need to migrate a 10-floor building network to a full L3 design. That means every floor is an L3 isolated domain.

Migrating the production IAP Cluster for that network design raise some questions as we know that is possible to configure L3 mobility for that matter.

Considering this is a building of 10 floor, there is a problem to deploy 10 different IAP cluster?

There is an RF consideration to make, taking in account that from the client perspective those Wi-Fi networks will not be the same regardless the same SSID?

There is a chance to have association problems for a user located in a floor with signal from different clusters?

What could be the roaming experience for the clients?

Also, we know that a solution would be to include an Aruba Mobility controller but that requires some investment in equipment.

    Regards,

depending on your AP models, you could use AOS10 with Aruba Central.

To configure a mobility domain, perform the following steps:

    1. Click the System link at top right corner of the Instant main window. The System window appears.
    2. Click the Show advanced options link. The advanced options are displayed.
    3. Click L3 Mobility. The L3 Mobility window is displayed.
