Directory should be /fs/nos , here are Firmware versions stored.
I could not test it , as  I am getting the Server busy errror. No default path for CX available.
This is a known issue !
I have an answer that this will be supported in the next version E0708.

"Script exist error" just means that there was an error when the script was executing. Typically when you check the results, you should be able to open the Operation Results, click on Details, and then click the "script exist error" or similar link to view output that shows exactly what the error was. Could you share that please?

6300M along with other OS-CX models are definitely supported by IMC, but which model is supported for which features depends on your IMC version. New CX models are added regularly in newer versions.

I've just tested in my lab with IMC 7.3 E0706P11 and a 6300M running FL.10.07.0030 was upgraded successfully to FL.10.10.1020 by IMC out of the box. Ensure REST API, SNMP Read and SSH are configured as access protocols.

In your case it looks like the scripts are hanging at the device prompt, but I can't really say more from the output. You could check the upgrade log iMC\server\conf\log\imcupgdm<date>.txt to see if there's any helpful output when the issue happens.

Are you running iMC 7.3 E0706P11? The scripts for CX should have been updated with this release, so make sure you are running it.

If you're still not able to resolve it, please open a TAC case.

Do you have the out-of-band management port connected on the switches? It's recommended on CX for this port to be used for management purposes such as software upgrades. According to your logs, the default VRF is being used. Transfers here may take a long time.

Could you try the upgrade via mgmt? You just need to tell IMC to use the VRF as well, via Service > Configuration Center > Options > VPN Instance -> Select the device and set the instance name to mgmt via Batch Config.

No, I do not have management port configured (it would only be more complicated than it needs to be, with yet another Vlan needing to exists)
Well, it turned out that it DID work, it just took 43 minutes to do it!!!!

And the path is the SAME as Provurve switches /os/primary or os/secondary

And then I run it on additional 5 switches where it shown as failed because: Device restarting failed.

Which was total rubbish, checked every unit by hand via SSH & every single one DID reboot OK (an booted from new firmware)

So something still is not right
