    Hi,

is there a possibility at IMC to automatically deactivate switch ports that have not been used for a certain period of time, e.g. 30 days, and possibly even assign them to an extra VLAN?

    Thank you and best regards
    Jürgen

    Hi,
You can assign extra vlans or change port admin status from this Resources page, but you need to manually select the down ports. The port status is displayed when you select the interfaces.

    Hi
I've been reading along here, I'm also interested in this topic.
But unfortunately I can't select an interface. Which switches or which OS system is supported here?

    Hi Ley_1,
This works for SNMP devices that support the Interface MIB.
IMC 708 is working for Aruba devices.  Device List lists all devices and then Interface List lists the device interfaces.
In theory all devices which are SNMP read-write  should be selectable.  Please show one device page with device type and the list of interfaces with their type.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,
we only use HPE - Provision/Procurve switches
    from the models:
    2530
    5400
    5400R zl2
    5400R zl2 with VSF
    3500
    2910
    2920
    2930
    etc.
    all with SNMPv3 r/w
    FW version up to date

Not a single one is shown
    Maybe only CX switches work?

Hi Tom,  sorry,  I take it back,  with IMC v708  I can only configure up/down port with Comware devices. I am checking with the lab if and when we can add support to CX and Procurve/Provision switches. It will take some time to get agreement and a plan.
    Kind Regards
