Please note that there is now an ISO as well, which is only used for the hardware appliances. Did you use the OVF?
VMWare fusion still is unsupported and may or may not work. If it works you are lucky, but make sure it may stop or give strange behavior at any time.

Yup but it's worked for every version so far, it's how I run my dev 6.10.7 server at home.
Just wondered as it doesn't even install red hat 8 … and I've installed other Linux VMs in Fusion

Just tried installing the 6.11 iso on Vmeare Fusion and doesnt get past the red hat installation.
"Unable to open kickstart file /tmp/part-info does not exist
