I don't have any knowledge on maintaining APs via an external controller. This forum is for "Controllerless Networks" wherein the "administration/management" is within the AP firmware itself example the IAP-325 that comes with InstantOS image.
Perhaps you should look for a forum for "controller" based administration ask the question there.
IMHO - you may get better response there.

You can download the lifetime warranty firmware without a login.
In order to do that, search for 'factory image' on ASP: https://asp.arubanetworks.com/downloads;search=factory;products=Aruba%20Access%20Points
The lifetime warranty does provide access to 'stable' firmware. For access to any firmware, an active support contract is needed.

with older APs such as AP-325s, you need a IAP-325 to be ale to run Instant AP firmware which does not require controller.
the SKU for IAP-325 is JW325A which is for rest of the world (not to be used in US, Japan, Israel)

I am new to using Aruba WiFi AP and I am considering buying a used Aruba HP AP-325 from eBay.
I have been reading a bit about this AP supporting InstantOS.
From what I understand is that with this firmware a setup of 325 APs can work in a cluster without the need
of a controller, similar to Ruckus Unleashed firmware that I am familiar with.
I would sincerely appreciate it if the community can guide me on where to find the latest InstantOS firmware image for the AP-365
and the installation steps.
