    Hi Team,

I am trying to connect my Aruba 2930F-24G-PoEP-4SFPP switch with my Aruba JL479A 8320 switch with an Aruba 1 GB transceiver model number J4859D.

I am not getting port up on both sides.

I have checked the power levels on both the switch end and getting errors on RX.
This is on aruba 2930F side.

    Hi Sanjib,

There must be an issue with the fiber cable. Both switches report no RX signal. There are two things you can check on your side:

    1. The cable connecting both switches must be SMF, not MM.
    2. LC connectors consist of two separate fibers, be sure they are crossed, e.g. one fiber should connect RX side on Switch A to TX side of Switch B. Another fiber should connect TX side of Switch A to RX side of Switch B.

If that is checked, then the issue can be in the cable itself.
