    Hello,

We are migrating our DC to another one and a simple question haunt my mind.

I've got 4 J9828A (700W) on each ZL, and no PoE consumption. can I lost 2 power supply at the same time without having any issues.

I searched all over the Internet but I don't find any good info.

    Hope you can help me

    Regards,

    Jeremy

    The command

    show system power-consumption

will show you how much power you're actually using.  I generally double the numbers it reports just to be safe.  Then the command

    show system power-supply

will show you how much power each PSU is actually delivering to the system.  As long as your consumption doesn't exceed the amount of power available you'll be fine.  I've lost 3 of the 4 PSU's in one of my 5412R's and it continued functioning normally.

    Hey,

Sorry for the late answer but thanks for the reply.

So it works like I was thinking. I need 2 PSU to be 100% safe.

    Have a nice day.
