For some unknown reason my JG962A can only be connected via console & it displays this "Image program does not exist." I've looked in release notes to see what can be done, but apparently the unit cannot create the local address, 192.168.0.2, and connect to the server at 192.168.0.3.

Is there anyway to possibly restore the missing image program?

    Thanks,

    Tim

    Hi!

It seems that the Comware image on the flash got corrupted or deleted, so the switch cannot boot anymore. What you can do:

    1. Restore the image by yourself by uploading it to the device
    2. Contact Aruba TAC to help you with image restoration.

In order to restore the image you can download the image from here - https://asp.arubanetworks.com/downloads/software/RmlsZTo2MWE2OWI4MC1hZDY3LTExZWQtOTdiZS1kM2QyNjI1YjJjNDM%3D

Instructions for the Bootrom upgrade are in the Release Notes ( download from here - https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/h3c/RN/HPE1950CMW710R3507P09RN.pdf  ), you can use FTP or TFTP server installed on your local PC (if you use Windows the easiest option is TFTP server TFTPD32 or TFTPD64) and follow "Upgrading Comware images from the Boot menu", "Using TFTP to upgrade software images through the Ethernet port" sub-section.
