I managed to update my switch 5140.
IT was original in version 6327.
First, I deployed an intermediate version (6330) dating from beginning of 2022, with the command :
boot-loader file flash:/5140EI-CMW710-R6330.ipe slot 1 main
Then I Installed the latest version (6343) using the command :
boot-loader file flash:/5140EI-CMW710-R6343.ipe slot 1 mainThe switch is well updated.
Finally, I updated second switch, which was in version 6327, with my first command and then the update went well
The command :
boot-loader file flash:/5140EI-CMW710-R6343.ipe all main
So, I can't figure out where my problem is coming from, but the important thing is that I was able to update it.

Hi, as per HPE 5140 EI 7.10 R6343 Release Notes, giving you save into the HPE 5140 EI Switch's flash memory the 5140EI-CMW710-R6343.ipe IPE file (which is archived into the downloaded 5140EI_7.10.R6343.zip archive file), if your HPE 5140 EI is NOT part of an IRF stack (so is standalone), shouldn't you just do a:
boot-loader file flash:/5140EI-CMW710-R6343.ipe slot 1 main
If I were you I will get rid of both 5140ei-cmw710-boot-r6342.bin and 5140ei-cmw710-system-r6343.bin files (plus deleting the grpcpkg and freeradius files related to R6343 release) and use the IPE file ONLY.

Je viens vers vous car je tente de mettre à jour un Switch HPE 5140-48G (JL824A).
Lorsque je lance la mise à jour avec la commande "Boot-loader file flash:/5140ei-cmw710-boot-r6343.bin all main"
j'ai le message d'erreur "Invalid Startup software image"
Or c'est bien, l'image que j'ai récupéré sur Aruba.
