Hello,
I have project for real time video system (6pcs of about 5Gbps per video multicast stream transmitters and 25 receivers) which should run IRF instance containing three 5710's connected togeteher to circle topology with 100G fiber links. Switches are running at latest fw.
Configurations for IGMP snooping/querier, ip interface etc and IRF seems to work fine but today I tested first time to connect video gear (IDK Ninjar stuff) I noticed that multicast is flooding all over the ports while it should not.
"Show igmp-snooping" shows (IRF vlan 9 has ip 192.168.2.1):
IGMP snooping information: VLAN 9
IGMP snooping: Enabled
Drop-unknown: Enabled
Version: 3
Host-aging-time: 260s
Router-aging-time: 260s
Max-response-time: 10s
Last-member-query-interval: 1s
Querier: Enabled (IP:192.168.2.1, Expires: 00:00:58)
Querier-election: Disabled
Query-interval: 60s
General-query source IP: 192.168.2.1
Special-query source IP: 192.168.2.1
Report source IP: 192.168.2.1
Leave source IP: 192.168.2.1
Host-tracking: Disabled
Dot1p-priority: --
Router-port-discard: Disabled
Proxy: Disabled
Peer-link interface: -
Which looks quite ok?
Is there something more to know when configuring multicast to IRF? Or should I break IRF to three separate switches?
