We are planning to upgrade our wireless environment to version 8.11.0.1-FIPS (I think this is the version available) from 8.7.1.11-FIPS.

I understand that one change is that now aruba-conductor is been used for DNS discovery instead of aruba-master.

    Any other caveats or gotchas?

The majority of our APs are 315's with some 515's.

After migration, we will start replacing the 315's with 615's.

Appreciate any feedback you can provide.

You may want to go via 8.10.x to allow live-upgrade. Mobility Conductor 8.11 is not supported with 8.7 as managed devices.

And read the release notes for other caveats.
