    Hello All,

We have IPTV network with smart hospitality TV, and Aruba 5400, Aruba 2920, 2530 for the switches.

In my understanding the IGMP configuration has to be enabled in all IPTV VLAN switches (I am using vlan 9 for IPTV), in fact it does not work.
So my configuration is as follow :
From above, I have the IGMP enabled in the core switch (5400) and disabled in the edge switches (2930 and 2530), all is working. But now there is issue : picture is freezing frequently after sometime.

If I have the the IGMP enabled in the core edges the the IPTV is not working.

The IPTV vlan in core :
    VLAN ID : 9
    VLAN NAME : IPTV Vlan
    IGMP Enabled [No] : Yes
    Querier Allowed [Yes] : Yes
    IGMP Version [2] : 2
    Strict Mode : No
Last Member Query Interval (Seconds) [1] : 1
    Querier Interval [125] : 125
Query Max. Response Time (Seconds) [10] : 10
    Robustness Count [2] : 2

Port Type | Port Mode Forced Fast Leave Fast Leave
    ------- ---------- + --------- ----------------- ----------
    A1 1000T | Auto No Yes
    A2 1000T | Auto No Yes

    IPTV Vlan in Edge

    VLAN ID : 851
    VLAN Name : IPTV Vlan
    IGMP Enabled [No] : Yes
    Querier Allowed [Yes] : Yes

Port Type | Port Mode Forced Fast Leave Fast Leave
    ---- --------- + --------- ----------------- ----------
    1 100/1000T | Auto No Yes
    2 100/1000T | Auto No Yes
    3 100/1000T | Auto No Yes
    4 100/1000T | Auto No Yes
    5 100/1000T | Auto No Yes

Can someone check my config and give me some clue ?

    Hi Sugeng,

Probably the multicast traffic is treated as broadcast for your edge switches and depends on the traffic generated you are facing this video problems.

For me IGMP needs to be enabled on the edge switches as well (snooping). As you have your core switch next to the source (probably used for querier) you can try to disable it for your edge switches, if they have IP addresses in vlan9 (under vlan context "no ip igmp querier").
