That's correct. Until just this week, AP-634 (as well as AP-654, AP-67x) should have been blocked from shipping into Europe. Not sure how this one made it through..
We have now obtained certs on the platform allowing us to deploy in Europe and enable the 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios (but NOT 6GHz). A DRT version reflecting that is expected to be available within the coming two weeks.
As for 6GHz, ETSI rules currently do not allow for products with detachable antenna support (as well as product targeted for outdoor deployments) to enable the 6GHz radios. The rules for that are still in development, and it could well take several years before the 6GHz radio on such products can get certified and enabled.

Wasn't aware we were shipping the 634 to the EU yet. Correct, the 634 hasn't been updated in the DRT for operation outside of a very small list of regulatory domains.

Hi Carson,
The AP not operating the 6GHz radio would be fine, however the 2.4GHz and 5GHz are also shut down. Country is Germany.
It seems that the DRT has not been updated to include most countries for the AP-634 as changing the virtual controller country to Canada brought them back up, which corresponds with the DRT notes.

What country?
The AP-634 is a 6 GHz Standard Power AP and will not currently operate the 6 GHz radio.

Subject: Radio goes down after selecting country on AP-634
Hello everyone,
We are currently setting up an AP network consisting of mostly AP-615 and one AP-634 unit.
Unfortunately, while everything works just fine on the AP-615s, the AP-634 stops sending out a radio signal as soon as it joins the instant cluster or as soon as a country code is assigned.
So far we've tested the following things
- different versions of instantOS (8.11.2.0, 8.11.2.2, 8.12.0)
- assigning different country codes than DE to the affected AP
- upgrading the whole cluster from 8.11.2.0 to 8.12.0 together
- downgrading to 8.11.2
- changing the antenna gain value
Has anyone had any similar experience with this or any idea how to resolve the issue?
Thank you
