Hi 

At one of our new warehouses we have multiple  comms cabs all linked through  2 x fibre rings , for additional resilience. The Fibre ports are setup as trunks. 

All the switches on the ring are up and running,  however we are yet to make the final connection which will complete the ring.   I have seen videos  for configuring RRP  on single ring,  am I right to assume we need to look at the sub ring configuration  for this setup? 

We are a large company but this setup at this high profile warehouse is unique hence asking for advice on best practices, to ensure when we make the change it goes as smoothly as possible.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated?

Sorry the switches are Aruba 2930 Layer 3 :-)

Hi, are you referring to a feature like the ERR (Ethernet Ring Protection) or are you simply trying to close a loop and rely on Spanning Tree?
