Yes, create a new CSR and using that get the certificate from your public ca. make sure to use the same SAN filed identical to the existing certificate
it seems that you are using wildcard certificate, if it is a wildcard no need to generate CSR. download the PKCS12 certificate bundle from the Digicert portal and import it to the ClearPass.

Subject: Request HTTPS certificate to CA
Hi community,
I am completely new in ClearPass certificates. My visitors now get the warning message about certificate when they log in with captive portal. I realized the HTTPS certficate has expired some days ago.
It is a certificate from a public CA. How can I get this certificate renewed? Directly contacting the CA? Or creating a CSR in CPPM? Many thanks.
