Hello, I am trying to do a simple stack of an Aruba 6200M with a 6200F switch (using DAC cables).
AOS-CX Virtual Switching Framework (VSF) Guide, 6200, 6300 Switch Series (arubanetworks.com)
I have followed the guide above, the VSF process does make sense, but once complete the links are never up and the second switch is never found.
Can someone please advise, this must be pretty straightforward.
Here's the commands I ran from the guide:
Log into Switch 1:
switch(config)# vsf member 1
switch(vsf-member-1)# link 1 1/1/49
switch(vsf-member-1)# link 2 1/1/50
Log into Switch 2:
switch (config)# vsf member 1
switch(vsf-member-1)# link 1 1/1/49
switch(vsf-member-1)# link 2 1/1/50
switch(vsf-member-1)# exit
switch(config)# vsf renumber-to 2
This will save the VSF configuration and reboot the switch.
Do you want to continue (y/n)? y
The switch will reboot after executing the renumber command.
Physically connect member 2 to member 1 as shown in the figure which will cause member 2 to join the stack, with member 1 as the master.
