    Hi All,

    We have a simple Aruba wireless network with two standalone controllers (7210 - Aruba OS 8.6) configured as Master/Standby using L2 redundancy,
    Certain configurations have been done mistakenly on the level of the controller instead of the mobility controller as you have to change the level each time you want to make changes, the portal selects the controller by default instead of the mobility controller.
    The L2 synchronization is working fine but I don't know how to copy all configuration changes done on the master controller level to the standby controller.
    I couldn't understand why it's built this way for a master/standby configuration.

    Is there any way to synchronize the difference in configuration between the master and standby controller.

    Regards

    In AOS6 and AOS8, When you do Master/Standby deployment, the L2 and L3 parameters needs to be configured on individual controllers.
    The remaining config will get synced using the HA feature.

    Hi ;

    In our case we don't have a mobility master but rather two standalone controllers .
    The referred document describes the HA feature for a system with a mobility master. Is it the same for two standalone controllers ??
    Because in our case any config done on the controller level does not get synced and this is our issue ( the HA Group is not configured, only L2 redundancy is configured) .

    Hi ahL,
    We have a similar configuration (master/standby not in HA) and had a similar problem with some changes accidentally done on the master instead of the MC. I recommend opening a TAC case to get their help.
