    Hi,

    I have configured a switch with mac-based authentication on a port.

    I have 5 ports like this. that have Time Clock or Door controller connected to them. 
    All 5 ports' speeds are synchronized on 10 Half Duplex.

    If I ping one of them before I add the authentication. it replies back.

    After I configure the mac-based command on the port, the echo replies stop. And I can't see any MAC on that port.

    Any suggestion ?

    Hi,

    Try configuring 'authentication open' together with 'authc host mode single-host' and see if it can authenticate after those commands applied.

    What is the output of 'show authentication session interface xx/x/xx details' when the device plugged in ? Look for the last line where mab status is shown.
