    I have an AP with two cables connected to it

    I've noticed that the secondary port appears to be dropping RX packets.

    Both ethernet ports appears to be in a bond0 interface.  My concern is that this AP may be dropping packets and causing a bad experience for the clients connected to it.  The counters are incrementing on the eth1 port so this is not static.

    Has anyone else seen this happen before?

    I can't find the eth1 MAC in my switched network so I'm having remote hands remove the cable as a test.

    I inherited this site so I'm not entirely sure why.  Some other areas of the site only have one cable connected to eth0.  Maybe redundancy was the reason?

    It could be, but you would have to enable lacp on your switch and the AP would negotiate and bond both interfaces together.  You would need to supply high powered POE to ensure that the second ethernet port would even be up.
    If lacp is not configured, the second enet would act as a standby interface, which would make the "drops" irrelevant, really.
