Hello Eric, unfortunately the backplane stacking implementation on Aruba 2930M (same for Aruba 2920) doesn't support a sequenced update of its members (say Standby first and then Conductor, as example). The entire stack needs to be rebooted in case of software update (so each stack member reboots concurrently with the others following the Conductor orders). This means that connected peers, even if dual connected to stack's members, will lose their connectivity towards the entire stack.

I have a stack of two switches 2930M ( JL083A ) in software version WC.16.10.0005 and I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade in release WC.16.10.0020 but without total outage ?
I mean upgrading member one 1 then member 2 so the servers with dual attachment will keep connectivity.
