    Hey,

I have some questions regarding VSF and STP, and the recent network incident.

    1. We use 2930F VSF stacking for access layer, do we still need to enable STP for any interfaces? because I found multiple interfaces flopping on 2930F VSF switches daily.  Please check the network diagram below.

    CoreSwitch: 6300

    Distribution switch: 3810m

    Access switch: 2930f

    2. Clients report internet was down today. It also happens last week. Users stay connected but no internet. Some cameras went offline while some cameras stay connected on the same switch at whole time. My colleague was able to remote in via VPN to our servers. However, no logs showed any broadcast storms or excessive packets. No warning or alert logs either. Everything restored after we rebooted three switches. My colleague thinks it may be caused by my Vlan and VSF configuration a couple of months ago.

    Servers: default vlan, no impact.

IP Phones: voice vlan do not seem offline.

IP Cameras: some went offline, some stayed connected. About 40% of them went offline.

Staff: staff vlan, connected to network but no internet access

Mgmt vlan: all access points and switches are in mgmt vlan.

Thanks for taking time to read my post. I will provide more information if needed.
