What AP/controller/firmware versions do you use?

How do you see 'it is visible by its MAC address'?

In general, you just see clients that are connected to an AP, not the ones that are not connected.

Also, if you disconnect a client from the AP (as in instruct the AP to disconnect the client), it's expected that a client will reconnect unless that client has auto-connect disabled for the network.
