Added endpoint context server(SOTI) to clearpass, polling shows success but no info is fetched.

Q:

I have added a new endpoint context server(SOTI) to ClearPass, polling works but no endpoint info fetched.

SOTI was configured as per the user guide.

 

 

 

 



A:

In this scenario, we see that the configuration is good and we also getting a poll success from the SOTI, which means it is responding to ClearPass. However, the endpoint information is not fetched  due to missing Group ID in the configuration. We need define the Group ID from SOTI, if the Group ID is not configured in SOTI then enter "0000000000"  10 zeros , as SOTI looking for group ID existence and 10 zeros will help.
